Starting a Blog

I have begun a blog.

I have been following blogging for the past three years: reading blogs about business, technology, and blogging itself. It’s been a remarkable experience – there is an ever increasing amount of information on the Internet, and much of it is useful, interesting, and informative. I’ve seen the world through the eyes of people with different – and usually more experienced – backgrounds. Reading blogs has helped me understand the breadth of opinions people hold, and see things – scandals and triumphs – that used to be hidden in industry-specific magazines, or gossip.

This new blog is an attempt to “join the conversation.” My college education is just begriming – I started at Skidmore College in the Fall 2006 semester – and it is already changing the way I think. I’d like to write about what interests me, subjecting my opinions to a more rigorous form of expression than thought.

I plan to write about the effect that ignorance and information have on business and social interactions – as well as anything else that attracts my attention.
